Went to the studio, turned on the power, then the ups, peripherals, computer, etc. Everything looks okay. Start up PT11.1.3 and it brings up a message box if I have iLok xxxxxxxxx (my account) and says some other stuff. I start sweating has my iLok gone south. I look and the little blue light isn't on. I jostle the iLok and it's buddy cable; no joy. Unplug and replug the iLok and everything is okay after I reboot the computer. The connection on the iLok must have worked loose when I moved some stuff around back of the computer.
Moral of the story - if all of a sudden your iLok doesn't appear to work, power down the computer, unplug and replug the iLok, restart the computer and all should be okay. What hasn't helped any is that NJ has been humid the last few days and there's no working air conditioning in the studio. So it's no surprise contacts get schmutzed up on their own.
