Hi there
I have just bought a new Macbook Pro 15", 2.3, 500GB, 16 GB RAM.
I'm using Pro Tool 11 and are also running Native Instruments Kontakt samples (pretty heavy load). Beside my MB Pro, I have extra one extra SSD disk and lots of USB 3 disks (1-2 TB).
My question is this..
What is the best setup for avoiding bottlenecks problems, in terms of audio floating in and out the system ? Would that be to run the software from the internal HD (obviously), and have the heavy Kontakt instrument samples on the SSD, and then recording all audio to the USB3 disks ?
Any suggestions ? Hope someone can give a good advice.
(sorry if I'm posting at the wrong party :-)
Cheers and greetings from Denmark
