metafilter crashes Pro Tools

I recently got Waves Metafilter but for some reason it is not working in Pro Tools and causes a crash as soon as I put it as an insert on a track. I get a Microsoft Visual C + + Runtime Library message. It says R6025 -pure virtual function call. I When I try metafilter as an audiosuite it works but I want to use it as an insert. Does anyone have any knowledge of this problem?
