Pro-Tools 9 Compatability with OSX 10.9

Hi Everyone,



I have a brand new Mac Book Pro with OSX 10.9 I just loaded my Pro-Tools 9. It seemed to install. But when I tried to open it up.. it said

"you can't run this version of pro-Tools with this version of OSX" ??



If that's the case (which is annoying..) if I "UPGRADE" to Pro-Tools 11….will I be OK?



Specifically…I would get the 9 to 11 Upgrade. I would not BUY a new Pro-Tools 11. Will the upgrade be compatible with OSX 10.9?
