Hi,
I have recently decided to up the performance of my system and have a few questions regarding the 'Transfer, Playback, Record' allocations for drives.
I have just installed the following to be used as:
500G SSD - System Drive
250G SSD - Dedicated Audio Drive
as well as those drives, I have:
2TB Internal mechanical drive and 4TB external drive for mixed media.
My question is, what is the best way to setup these drives.
I had planned to use the 500G SSD for Applications as well as Pro Tools, and the 250G SSD for my sound bank, libraries and sessions folders.
When setting up Pro Tools to allocate these drives should I make the 500G (system drive) Playback, the 250G (Audio Drive) Record, and the 2TB Internal Transfer?
The 4TB external is for films and media I didn't want cluttering my internal 2TB.
Any help or suggestions would be great!
Thanks,
Trent.
