In our Multi-Room Network we had to fight all the known problems of Eucon in a large network:
-Eucon automatically accessing wrong surfaces
-Lagging behavior if unassigned surfaces are available
-Loosing connection
-Surface not available
As a solution I installed a second NIC exclusively for Eucon and explicitly assigning it in Eucon Preferences (Win7 64)
BUT:
Eucon 3.1.3 still sees the surfaces from the disabled main Network interface
and is still able to connect and "steal" those surfaces.
