Sorry, this is my first post, I have been using pro tools for a long time now, probably not as long as some of you but, I have been using a Black Box to record as my input into pro tools, I was looking to upgrade to a mixing console similar to the project mix i/o board but something that is compatible with pro tools 10.3.9 running on an iMac with OSX 10.9.4 The problems, as I am seeing it, are not with pro tools but with the compatibility of the OSX with the mixing consoles. Any of the consoles that work with pro tools 10 and up do not work with OSX 10.9.4, well some of the more affordable boards. Any suggestions as to what else is out there, I have been searching online, and this forum pops up often but I haven't found any posts with my specifications to get an idea of what boards will work for me and my specific set up.
Basically what I am looking for is anything with multiple inputs for a drum machine, keyboard, guitar and a microphone. 4 channels and up, The Black Box has 2, one XLR input and a 1/4" input, any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you.
