As a normal rule, we do not install revisions the minute they come out, but I felt since 10.3.9 had been out for some time, it should be mature enough to install - wrong! We have 14 workstations at this facility, had installed 10.3.9 for TDM on 3 machine, and instantly had calls from the control room with problems. 1st the input button on the channel strip does not work, meter movement shows signal, but no output. Selecting record ready does allow audio to be heard. So it would there is a logic issue with this version.
Rolling back software to version 10.3.5 corrects problem. I'm sure going to v10.3.8 would also correct problem as well. Error seems confined to 3.9.
Spec's: Mac Pro 2.66G, 16G RAM, OSX 10.7.5, currently PT 10.3.5.
