003 Rack Not Connecting in Maverick 10.9.5

I combed the boards for this exact topic but only found some that were somewhat similar, but not, ultimately, helpful towards my problem. I decided to be so bold and start a new thread as my first post (fingers quiver as I type this).

I use a Digi 003 Rack, connected to a brand new 27" iMac via a thunderbolt adapter, my OSX is Maverick 10.9.5 (i know), and I use Logic Pro X.

Here's my issue:

I downloaded the newest (Jun 2014) Core Audio drivers for the 003 rack and saw that it covers only up to 10.9.4 for Maverick. I can't get the 003 rack to connect and essentially want to know if I should just hunker down in my pit of despair until the newest release comes out that covers 10.9.5 or if there's a fix out there that I haven't considered.

I can't get core audio to connect despite my 003 rack showing a host connection when I open up Logic Pro X. It doesn't work for anything else either.

Also, I have gone into Audio/Midi options and selected the 003 rack as my interface as well as having done that in System Preferences.

Thank you for reading this.
