Help me decide - MacBook Pro i7 2.8 or Mac Pro Xeon 3.7ghz

Hello everyone,



I'm ready to buy a new Mac Computer but I'm not sure which one would be better for the work I do. I use many Virtual Instruments in my sessions like Strike, Structure with many channels of orchestral patches, Ivory Pianos, Xpand, Transfuser, etc, plus many vocal channels and sometimes I have to work with video too. I have PT 11 (No HD) and a Scarlett 18i20 interface. My MacBook Pro 13 is five years old and can not longer do the job.

Which Computer would you recommend? I know they are expensive but which one would be a better investment?

Can the MacMini handle Audio and Video? Because they are really cheap.
