Mac Pro 5.1 Protools 11 and PCIe SSD

I've been looking at upgrading my Mac Pro to PT11 and putting a couple of SSD drives in it- one for the system drive, one for audio- and it seems like the SSD systems with best performance are PCIe based (Sonnet Tempo SSD Pro and OWC Mercury Accelsior are the two which seem most mentioned/recommended in terms of performance for general use) but both appear to use Raid 0 to split data between two drives and increase performance- does anyone here have experience running PT with either of these systems?

currently OSX 10.6.8, PT 10.3HD, HD/Native PCI card for tracking via Venue Desk and MBox2Pro for monitoring whilst mixing. Considering upgrade to Mavericks, PT 11HD using same hardware/interfaces.
