Hello
I have been running ProTools 10 HD and non-HD (various releases) on OS X Lion 10.7.x for a number of years with reasonable success (although this is not the most stable ProTools version, and I have intermittent problems, it is stable enough to be usable). This experience is both on a MacPro 12core 5,1/HD3 and MacBookPro 4core 8,2/native with MOTU hardware. . . however some other applications I would like to run only begin support on OSX Mountain Lion.
Avid's support notes state both Lion 10.7.5 and Mountain Lion 10.8.5 are compatible with ProTools 10.3.9 from what I read.
Any reason to stick to OS X Lion and not upgrade these systems to OS X Mountain Lion? . . . Please let me know your experiences. . .
Thanks!
