Several recording issues: BSOD, noise, missing inputs, etc.

I recently upgraded from PT MP8 to PT 11. I was hoping all the difficulty of using Pro Tools would be much resolved by now, but I'm disappointed it still has so many issues.

First, here is my equipment:

Lenovo T430s

i7 CPU

12GB RAM

Win7 64-bit

SATA3 SSD

All updated drivers and software

Pro Tools 11

Recording from a 64 channel DANTE network via gigabit ethernet and Virtual Soundcard ASIO interface

Issue 1:

After properly setting up my I/O channels in a session, only about half of the 64 channels show a signal and are usable. For example, channels 1-15 have signals when record enabled, but channels above 40 do not (I don't know at what specific channel it cuts out). I select the input but it's dead. In Reaper I can easily setup all 64 channels and receive signals.

Issue 2:

While recording today I had the recording suddenly stop and Pro Tools popup an error saying it ran out of CPU power, but the session was not even using more than 8% according to the system monitor. After recording again I got a BSOD that read "A clock interrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval." Never had these issues in PT8 or Reaper.

Issue 3:

After recording tracks, when I play them back they'll have tons of static sound throughout certain parts of the track making them unusable. Sounds like it was recorded in 2-bit instead of 24. Again, if I record the exact same way in Reaper it's crystal clear every time.

I'm hoping these problems are related and a simple fix. The Win7 setup guide says to disable Turbo Boost, but there is no Turbo Boost option in my BIOS. Nor would I want to disable it if I could avoid it. Every other piece of software I've ever used has never had a problem with it...

Is that the issue, or does anyone know of anything else? I've considered just tracking in Reaper, but it would just make things easier to have tracks in Pro Tools from the get go. Thanks for any help!
