Digitizing cassette tapes

What's the best method for digitizing lots, and I mean literally hundreds, of cassette tapes?



Have a pro bono project coming up where I will need to digitize and then clean up recordings of a guy reading books, mostly religious scriptures. I'm looking for a high speed solution. Once I have them as digital audio files I can work with them in Protools to clean up and edit the recordings.
