What is new in the iLok License Manager v2.4.0?
Version 2.4 is a required update. Changes and improvements to the licensing system necessitated an update to the client software. Please download the latest version from www.ilok.com.
Release Notes v2.4.0 9/30/2014:
- Performance improvements- When polling for changes in iLok information, (e.g. name, description, etc. ) the server will now only return information for any iLoks that have changed.
- Added the ability to Hide 'unwanted' licenses from view (reduces clutter and speeds up display).
- Hide a license using the context menu (right click the license) or from the License Details pane.
- Hidden licenses can be seen in the Hidden view.
- Hidden licenses cannot be activated to a location (you will need to Show first).
- Activated licenses cannot be Hidden (you will need to Deactivate first).
- Most operations to a license (Activate, Transfer or Surrender) will require a Hidden license to be Shown first .
- In the Hidden View, you can choose to Show a license using the context menu (right click the license) or from the License Details pane.
- If a Hidden license is Shown, the license will appear on the All Licenses and/or Unavailable views depending on the state of the license.
- Fixed bug where expired licenses could not be dragged from a location back to the account.
- Fixed bug where renaming iLoks failed intermittently.
- Double clicking a license will now toggle showing and hiding of the License Details pane.
- Corrected an issue where Hide Unavailable Licenses was not working as expected after Signing in.
- Fixed bug where application menus were not being enabled when you cancelled during a license transfer.
- Waits for the final transfer dialog to be dismissed before starting the polling operations.
- Closes session when you quit the application.
- Fixed bug in transfers where Line 2 of the Address field on the Payment dialog, if provided, was overwriting Line 1 of the Address field.
- Publisher Note for licenses requiring approval now shows number of characters remaining out of the maximum that can be entered.
- Fixed bug where account view following a transfer, surrender update, or revoke operation was incorrect.
- Fixed an issue where the application continued to do operations even after a successful completion dialog was shown.
- Corrected duplicates in License view of an iLok that belongs to a different account than the one signed in.
- iLoks may Auto Sync if they are scheduled for unfinished work.
- Improved error handling.
- Added the ability to copy text from an error dialog.
- Support for proxy servers on Windows in the Preferences panel.
