Hi,
I found myself in a situation today where an install of another app somehow caused a change in Pro Tools.
After I installed the other software I tested Pro Tools so as to make sure I was good to go and I was surprised to stumble across the realization that Pro Tools had launched using a "generic ASIO driver" rather than the specific MOTU ASIO driver I have been using.
I was confused long enough to start messing with my I/O settings. I relied on the last saved settings option once I figured out to change back to the MOTU driver.
Now I have the MOTU drivers set up again, but every project I open says the I/O setup has changed and I have to choose to either save a .txt file or not. I did save an example of the text file and it simply says that something has changed. It does not specifically describe the change.
If I select "no" when asked to save the .txt file my project opens and everything seems ok. If I save the project it will open without the I/O change dialog.
Is there a way to look backwards and figure out if there is some small detail to the I/O setup that I missing that is causing all my projects to show the I/O setup has changed dialog when I open them?
Thank You.
