PT 11 Install Debacle... HELP!!

I suspect you guys are going to start laughing at me with this one... sorry!



I ran PT 6.5 for years without a hitch, until a year ago, when I upgraded to 10, w. Windows 7 64bit, with a Lynx Aurora interface. Still ran fine, with few hitches.



This week, I had a break in the action and decided on updating to PT11.2.1, which installer was sitting on my hard drive for nearly a year (maybe more).



I got the installer and ilok set within a reasonable time, but upon launching PT, I can't get a session to run. Upon the software loading, the first time I click on anything, I end up with the white screen of death, and the notification "Protools not responding".



The software "pops" back from the white screen when I turn off my Lynx Aurora interface, but then can't be reconnected.



I've done most of the recommended system configuration tweaks, to no avail.



Here's my basic system info:



approx. 2-3 yr. old hand-assembled computer (by means of the Avid recommendations).

W7 64,

i7 2.8

6GB of Ram

Lynx Aurora w. LT-USB card (drivers updated)





I have no idea how to do a Sandra report, and little time to figure this all out.
