I posted this over in the Legacy/Digidesign part of the forum but got no answers. Hopefully someone over here can help me out...

Hi,
I'm new to this forum hoping to get a little help with my copy of Pro Tools 8 LE.
I'm not versed in Pro Tools, so please bear with me.
I have an Mbox Mini 2 that came with Pro Tools 8 LE, back when it was Digidesign. I used the Mbox Mini 2 a few times with Garageband on my Macbook Pro, but never used Pro Tools to record. I did install it though, I believe, and then uninstalled it shortly thereafter.
At the time, it hung when starting up and so I defaulted to Garageband. I later upgraded my OS to Mavericks and more recently Yosemite, both of which don't support this version of Pro Tools anyway.
I plan on selling my Mbox Mini 2 and was going to sell the copy of Pro Tools 8 LE with it, but I don't know if I can sell the software if it's been used. I really don't know how to tell if it's been registered or not. It would be a lot more lucrative to sell them together, as Pro Tools is likely worth more than the actual hardware.
On my AVID account (I didn't even realize at first I had an account), under "Products and Subscriptions", it says "you do not own any products under this account yet." I can't tell if that means I have not registered the software, in which case I could resell it.
As I understand, once you register your software, you would have to transfer the ownership to another person if you wanted to sell it?
I also believe that the Pro Tools 8 LE can only be used with the Mbox Mini 2 that it came with, but the Mbox itself can be used with other software (as I've used it with Garageband).
So my questions are
1. Can I even resell Pro Tools 8 LE, with the Mbox, whether it's been registered or not?
2. How do I find out if it's been registered? (Because I updated my OS, I can't load the disc) I still have the product registration information card.
I hope someone can help, or even just give me some general information on the product.
Thanks.
