Cant get midi controller to function for Amplitube 3

in stand alone the midi foot pedal works fine with Amplitube 3, but as a plug in it does not work, what I am trying to do is record the stomp box or pedal changes as they occur, currently I have to use the mouse to make rig changes when Amplitube is a plugin



What i use

Hp Athlon 6 core 16 gig ram

Windows 7

Komplete 6 (interface)

Line 6 fbv shortboard express (foot pedal)

Pro Tools 11 full student version



What i have tried

- Amplitube setup i tried keeping the fbv shortboard as the midi controller and tried it with it not being the controller

- i have gone into Peripherals and selected HUI, Fbv shortboard, Amplitube3, channel 8 ( channel cant be changed)

- in fbv pedal software i have tried all 4 ports on channel 8, using midi cc for the pedal switches



- to see if it worked i tried setting up the mmc - play, stop etc. controlled by the foot pedal, and i wss successful with this, unfortunately this is not what i am trying to do



- i tried a couple other midi controllers the same wat i did the fbv foot pedal, axiom 61, korg nanokontrol, none of them worked, kept displaying. HUI cant connect message,



Hoprfully this makes sense, if anyone has any ideas Id appreciate it. Thanks
