Having issues recording guitar with Eleven Rack

I've had the Eleven Rack with Pro Tools for about a month now and I can't seem to figure out how to record through the Eleven Rack. Eleven Rack is hooked straight into the computer via USB, Pro Tools and Eleven Rack editor is open. I've looked in the manual and I followed the steps on creating a stereo audio track, the input selector says "Eleven Rig L/R." And then it either says "Cannot record enable without input and output" or something like that or when I have the output set to Main Out L/R and record, nothing happens. Just straight line with no sound.



I am desperate. I've never had this much trouble with logic pro. What is missing here? And I sure am not paying $100 for a ridiculous Support contract for one small issue.
