Hi experts.
I have noticed that when recording into my Mbox 3 from an external preamp conected thru SPDIF IN i have a delay of 8 samples respect the same signal converted in the Mbox converter. I know this is because of the different conversors and it's not an issue when recording separate tracks. But when i want to multimic some recording using all inputs at the same time (drums, guitar+ 2/3 mics in amp, bass di + 2 mics in amp...) I get very weird phase issues.
I correct it manually by shifting the 8 samples the tracks recorded through spdif inputs. But I wanted to know if there's a way to configure or set in Pro Tools (I'm using PT11) that spdif inputs always have that 8 samples delay, and automatically compensate for it.
Thanks and regards.
