PT11HD - general performance and stability

I've been now working with PT11HD for a week or so in anger. The good - offline bounce. The bad... well, quite a lot actually. Nothing totally showstopping, but enough general grouchiness to make me think of going back to 10HD next week. While I have half a dozen issues with Avid support, I thought I'd see how much of this is common to everyone, and how much is issues with things on my system. To clarify - none of the below are issues in PT10 HD (or PT10+CPTK - same thing).

1. General sluggishness on saving / processor intensive activities. First noticed it on autosaves, where the mouse would drag. Then noticed it did the same thing on other saves and loads, when importing files and when dragging a lot of clips at once. The whole system crawls in a drunken way. I managed to catch the Task Manager CPU performance when crawling once - it said 10% CPU.

2. Transport occasionally becomes inactive. Toggling online / offline sync restores. Can't find a consistent trigger.

3. Video randomly freezes. Not that often, but just happens. Stop and restart cures.

4. Graphics get messed up when dragging vertically on the timeline (thread reported by someone else here - http://ift.tt/1xU9sCZ ). Scrolling on and off screen cures.

5. Maybe related to (1) - occasionally the system freezes for a moment after an action, then highlights everything and returns me to session start. Possibly inadvertant keypresses on my part during the freeze before I realise what's going on.

I'm starting to wonder why I'm using PT11 really. Although my sessions are large, they're much smoother in 32 bit land. But I'd like to know if these are general PT11 issues or if there's something in my config that's upsetting it.

Win 7 64 bit SP1; i7 4930; 64gb RAM; 2x GT610; RME Babyface; PT11HD 11.2.1. Plugins from Waves, Sonnox, iZotope, zPlane.
