I have a new Thunderbolt/Omni system sitting in boxes as I wait for Avid to support the new Mac Mini and Yosemite. I'm considering finding a used previous generation mac mini just so I can get the system going.
Anyone running a 2012 mac mini with a dual monitor setup using a thunderbolt hub like the Caldigit? Does this work? Thinking of running both monitors through HDMI (one from the mac, and one from the hub). Just wondering if the Thunderbolt interface will play nice with the hub.
Or, should I wait and get a new mac mini and yosemite?
