I realize that the "Crash at Bounce" issue has been touched on in the DUC, but the problems I have seen appear to be similar but not identical. Using Pro Tools, 11.2.1, it has sporadic crashes when bounce is initiated. It doesn't seems to be specific about the format it is bouncing to- .wav and Mp3- and it is not predictable. Out of 10 projects the other day, it crashed on three. All projects are fairly small: no more than 12 tracks, 5 plugs-ins in use max, total run time not exceeding 4 minutes per piece, in offline-bounce mode, working with wav files samples at 192kHz, 24 bit resolution. System resources rarely exceed 32% used. The symptom: the screen goes blank, then acts as though power was shut off from the monitor. The computer won't even re-boot without unplugging. All in all, the system seems more stable than the errant recording halt in PT 11.1, even as infrequent as it was.
So, is this fixed in PT 11.2.2? In reading the notes for 11.2.2, it doesn't seem to be addressed. Is it?
