Yes, I know I can do a 'save as' or export/import session parameters...But I wish I had the ability to recall, inside Protools itself, instantly, a list of scenes/snapshots the way live digital sound consoles do.
Since I come from a live background; I find myself wanting to set up a mix at one part of a song, and then do something substantially different in another part. Or to try two (or more) different approaches to the mix and want to recall them instantly for A/B/C-ing a mix.
Also, it would be helpful when building a mix with a client and then setting up something better and being able to flip back and forth between them, even during playback would be ideal.
Protools needs a scene/mix snapshot function.
