I just bought this program for, Pro Tools...I'm recording a modern rock song with drums and guitar already tracked. I'm trying to match some of Massive's 'presets' & sounds of my own to fit into this particular rock song, as well as many other tracks I'm trying to remix.
When I press a key on my midi controller, most of the sounds are either to slow or too fast, to match the tempo and beat of the song. I did see a ' BPM' options, just as I did in Absynth's, LFOs. My problem is, even when the BPM is set to 120, and my song tempo is 120... The PADs or Massive effects, are all just way off the mark?!
If you have time to help me with this post...please take a listen to a song link I have posted via Soundcloud. The song is called "Buried Alive". If you listen you can hear a lot if great Massive sounds, as well as Absyth. They all match the tempo and beat of the song perfectly??
Is there something I need to learn? I'm very new to Massive and Absynth, but after I heard the song I have posted bellow...I've been trying to create similar sounds in my rock music. Can anyone help me with this issue themselves or direct me to a helpful article or tutorial? Thank you once again! Everyone works so hard on this site without asking anything in return. God Bless you!
