Hello everybody
Just updated from PT10 to 11 on my macbook pro 10.9.5
I am using a RME Madiface XT - it worked without any problems on PT10
With PT11 apparently it is only working when 'Ignore Errors During Playback/Record' at the Playback Engine dialogue is enabled.
Once it is disabled i immediately get the error that I/O have changed and PT crashes. No matter what i do - if i try to reopen the program it keeps crashing.
Have tried to limit the channels of the Madiface by running it on USB2-mode - no change.
I run the latest drivers and the latest version of PT and Mac OS Maverick.
So is the only solution to run the Madiface if I keep the 'ignore error'- option enabled? It says it might produce clicks and pops - not exactly what i would like to hear on a classical recording.
Any help would be highly appreciated
