I am selling one of my HDX cards on Ebay and Plan to bundle with PT11HD which is what AVID requires. I know that no one else seems to do that and instead sells the card and software separate all the time even though they aren't supposed to.
But I'm trying to figure out what is the proper way to handle the "transfer of ownership" From what I am seeing, AVID makes this very complicated with a convoluted system involving buying an ASC code initiating a service case and filling out forms and paying a fee.
There also seems to be a few different forms available online an none clearly stating which is the proper form. I'm also not sure if its the buyer or the seller who sets of the ASC support case.
Does anyone know the exact proper procedure, forms and cost??
