Hi everyone,
Offline video editor here, trying to learn if Pro Tools can do something that Media Composer cannot... but would be incredibly useful:
Let's pretend I was given a multichannel WAV file, containing 4 singers. My timeline only contains 1 of those singers, let's pretend it's channel 1.
If I export an AAF of that timeline with consolidated media, is it possible that my consolidated audio regions still contain channels 2-4 (ie. the other singers who were on the original multichannel WAV) even if I didn't use them on my timeline?
If not via AAF, is there a way to achieve this, without resorting to dropping all 4 tracks onto my timeline?
Any help is appreciated.
