freezing Pro Tools

Hey!

I'm having a big problem here with my P.T: I just can't consolidate clips. Pro Tools freezes, no messages appear, only the spinning colour wheel, but it never stops spinning, pro tools stops responding and I have to "force quit" the program.

I've tried lots of things like reinstalling, updating, reseting Pro Tools preferences, deleting all aax plugins, but nothing solved the issue.

Please, can anyone here help me?

iMac late 2013 OSX 10.10.2

3,1 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

G-Technology External HD

Pro Tools 11HD
