Hey guys!
I'm setting up my old laptop for live use with pro tools 10. At first, i couldn't install pro tools 10 (1.5gb memory), so I upgraded to 2.5gb.
Installation was possible and everything works great.
BUT: at startup of pro tools, I get a message that tells me, that I don't have enough ram for optimal performance with a checkbox not to ask this again. But it keeps asking :(. And there's about 1gb of ram resources avaiable.
This message appears about every 10 minutes and makes the use for live sessions impossible.
Starting pro tools "as administrator" and deactivating the message doesn't help too.
Is there some sort of trick to this? For example a registry key or something?
My setup:
Pro Tools 10
Windows 7 x64
2GB RAM
2x1.86 GHz
I'm quite sure it's a permission problem on some files or registry keys, but I can't find something to this :(
Looking forwarding hearing from you guys and thx in advance! :)
