PT 12 internet requirement?????

The talk of cloud & collaboration has me a little concerned. I am worried that PT 12 may require an internet connection to work.



Internet service here is not good. The speed is ok, but outages are too frequent. That's ok for software updates but I would hate to be dependent on an internet connection before starting an important session. Also I occasionally do field work where there is no internet connection at all.



I hope I am just 'borrowing trouble.' Does anyone know specifics about this?
