System Set-up PT11 and Presonus

Hi Fourm

First off, I am a complete newbie here so please excuse my ignorance…

I am an old guy that is versed in the analog / tape world but lost in the world of the digital jungle. Spending way more time on fourms, reading software manuals than creating and laying tracks. I have recorded with several bands on 24 ch 1” and 2” tape systems with outboard gear… but tape is getting costly and hard to find…. so here I am.

1. With the idea of not wanting to re-invent the wheel, I wanted to toss out the system that I have and ask if there are any know issues/get feedback on the system I have assembled. I don’t know what is important so here is everything from a “Sandy” scan:

2. Are there any obvious issues that I will encounter when installing/ running this system… i.e. could not get PT11 to load due to a "can't initialize audio engine" error. After a day saw on a fourm to get the ASIO4ALL driver… (not sure why this free version wouldn’t come with the $700 software)

3. I would love to get a few (free) .ptx files of live bands that I can play with/ modify before trying to record the real band. Does anyone have a few links where I can get them?

4. Are there any experts / consultant that provide guidance on a T&M basis…

Thanks in advance for your support

Tx
