003 not connecting when PT11 loads

Have been running PT11 fine with my 003 console as User 2 on Imac. When booted up in proper sequence 003 connected as it should when opened PT11. All has been good. However, last night I installed Superior Drummer 2.0 on my iMac. Seemed to load O.K. but cannot find it anywhere, so I checked if it loaded to User 1 on my iMac. Not there either. I opened PT11 in User 1 to see if in PT there somewhere but not. O.K. so now I determined I'll call support tomorrow with help on Superior Drummer. But now when I open PT11 in normal User 2 on iMac the 003 is not registering. I'm following proper sequence of shut down and then start up order of 003 first, then iMac, then PT. The 003 Validates then shows Offline, but LED's just go blank once PT11 loads. I think it may have something to do with opening PT11 in User 1 and User 2 as described above but not sure (I do not have a separate hard drive, just using the system HD on iMac for both User 1 and 2 - have over 200GB free so not out of space). Would like to record some new tracks today so any suggestions for re-engaging 003 will be appreciated. Otherwise guess I'll need to wait to contact Avid support tomorrow. Thanks.
