Hi guys!
I have been getting this error for a few months now so I decided to get a newer computer.
I recently got a new (used but new to me) 2010 Mac Book Pro, 2.4 ghz, dual core, 4 gigs of ram, and 500 gig hard drive.
I have it partitioned running os snow leopard for Pro Tools and Yosemite for normal computer use.
I have been getting this error prior to this setup and want to know whats causing it.
I should also note that I simply cloned the hard drive of my old mac and installed the cloned drive in my new (new to me) 2010 mac book pro.
My Pro Tools rig is 10.3.10
M - Audio C400 - 1.0.5 drivers
Here's what I've tried so.
I have removed all plugins and put them in the unused folder - no change
I have played around with the h/w buffer - the best setting is 256 samples, 1 processor, 80 % usage, delay comp short, plugin buffer level 2.
*should I have it set to 1 processor or 2?
I have gone through all the optimizations recommended on the avid site for snow leopard.
What else do you recommend?
