I am trying to import an mxf xdcam 50mb video into my timeline at home (system specs at end of post) and I keep getting the message:
Unable to link to file "[filename].mxf" due to either a missing CODEC or the file may be unsupported.
This mxf was working just fine this morning at work on a Windows 7, HDX1, Blackmagic Decklink 4K extreme system. We have been using the same codecs for nearly 2 years, daily.
I have repaired permissions, reinstalled Avid LE codecs (v2.6.0), Avid PE codecs (v2.4.0), restarted a couple of times, but no luck (YES, the video engine is enabled!). Can anyone shed any light?
