"Please check your ReWire host"

I am trying to set up a Pro Tools session. My goal is to have multiple tracks, each with a different Reason sound. I did this last weekend with the help of a technician.



But now when I try to open the session, Reason does not open and I get an error:"Engine not responding. Please check your ReWire host."



Then when I close that error and try to open the Reason app, I get a different error: "Could not connect to the Reason Engine. The Reason Engine is already in use. 
Make sure You only run one instance of Reason."



Finally, when I quit Pro Tools, I see the following error. "DigiReWire: One or more ReQire applications did not terminate. You need to manually quite those applications before quitting Pro Tools."



Does anyone know how to correct this problem?
