My first post in a while, seeing as I've committed to wean myself off Avid given my disdain for Avid's new direction ;-)
However, a friend's student son is interested in getting into Pro Tools.
Question is … does a new student purchase of Pro Tools 12 include Pro Tools 10 and 11 licenses in the same way that upgrades do?
Also, does a student subscription to Pro Tools 12 come with 10 and 11 licenses in a bundle too?
The Avid webpages on licensing, subscriptions and education all make no mention of this. The only thing that is made clear is that if you UPGRADE to Pro Tools 12, you get a license bundle that includes 10 and 11 as well.
So, it's not clear if NEW purchases of Pro Tools 12, or NEW subscriptions of Pro Tools 12 actually include the same licence bundles giving capability to run Pro Tools 10 and 11.
Can someone confirm please?
