People who own HD software will pay $599 to stay current and get 24/7 support. Avid or tech support please correct this if it's wrong. Some people believe that the HD subscription price has not yet been announced. I believe it has and it's $599 per year.
I encourage all HD owners to explain how you feel. Is this fair? What would be fair?
I think that all software upgrades should be priced the same. I would pay $199 per year to stay up to date.
I think it's fair to bundle upgrades and support. I think $599 is fair. I don't believe that every HD machine requires 24/7 support.
