How To Install Casio To MIDI

I have a Casio CTK-2100. What I want to do is get the computer to recognize it. What do I do? Because I'd use it as MIDI to control the Mini Grand and record. I have the sound and I'm able to record, but only with the pencil tool. I remember years ago, recording WHILE playing the piano. I have all the cables set up properly, it seems as though the computer hasn't even recognized it yet as it won't give me the option nor on Pro Tools or FL.
