Not getting any input signal on new Mac Pro

I just bought a brand new Mac Pro. 12 core, 64gb, 1tb ssd, etc. I also purchased a Magma ExpressBox 3T to connect my Avid HD Native card to my Avid 16x16. I installed the drivers for Yosemite, and the HD Native card shows up. I can play back audio through Pro Tools, but it will not record anything through the inputs. My routing is correct. I put the HD Native card back in my old Mac Pro, and recording audio with the same signal flow worked great. Zero problems. I reverted the new Mac Pro to Mavericks, and got the same exact problem. I even took back the new Mac Pro and got another one because I was convinced it was a hardware issue. It is doing the exact same thing. I am at a loss of what to do - and it does not help that Avid wants me to buy an $80 support code when I just bought Pro Tools 11 HD less than 6 months ago.
