quickeys | query pt internal infos

hello,



can anybody share some insights into what is possible with quickeys and where are the boundaries?



there is a point where i stuck, specially when it comes to macros, that somehow depends on protools internal informations (variables) that change from time to time - and are not known when the macro is triggered.

for example the number of the currently selected clips or the selected trackname.



is there a way to query protools internal informations?

maybe via applescript?
