Recommendation for Best Storage Solution?

Hi everyone,



I have a New Mac Pro (nMP trash can) 6-core, 16GB RAM, Pro Tools 11 HDX rig with one HDX card installed in a Sonnet Echo Express III-R PCIe Thunderbolt 2 chassis.



What is the best storage solution you guys are recommending for music production (no video)? I generally record and mix live sessions of 40 - 50 tracks, mixture of live recorded audio and virtual instruments, lots of edits.



I'm currently using an OWC Mercury Pro Elite Thunderbolt external enclosure with two Samsung 7200 eSata drives inside it, NOT running any sort of RAID. I don't even use round-robin track assignments.



What do you recommend? External SSC connected via thunderbolt? Adding an additional PCIe card in the Sonnet with SSC drives mounted on it? RAID solutions?
