Volume Issue

Running my 11r through the main outs to a sonic maximizer, to a Crown xls402. into a 412 cab. It sounds fantastic,but at 260 watts per side in stereo it's barely loud enough to keep up with the drummer,though he is a loud drummer. Still I would think this should be killing small animals loud, lol It gets a huge volume boost from the maximizer as well as filling out the bottom end a bit. But it just doesn't have much volume. Is there a setting I've missed? I've been though all the ones I can find on the output,inputs and cranked the outputs in the patches and that helps, but it seems like it needs a preamp to get the volume and that shouldn't be I wouldn't think. Looking like a preamp to run from the amplifer outs is the only option at this point. Or a bigger amp. The amp never goes to clipping,it only lights up the first light,and only 2 of the ones on the maximiser light up during play. Seems I have missed something in the editing
