I'm using the lasest PT10 version on Windown 7.
Latley I bought PT10 and started using it for mixing. Everything went fine until one day I decided to record. I did all the needed things and changed the buffer size on my SPL Crimson 128. I made sure that all of the playback engine settings are correct. Than I tried to monitor my input and noticed that there is latnecy. This latency is followed by slow operation of the program. Sometimes I get no signal at all. This latency is at the DAW's output. I see the faders moving at the right time but hear the sound after a second or so.
I tried everything and even installed PT11 and other Crimson drivers. In PT I had low latnecy but still the DAW was moving slow and sometimes the signal stopped (saw the faders moving but didn't get any sound at all). Tried to delete and re-assign the I/O, didn't help. Tried other sound devices, didn't help.
In other DAWs I use such as abelton and cubase I get no latency and a really good DAW speed.
What should I do?
I'm feeling sad and having big projects coming soon.. :(
