AAE 6101 on incredibly simple project

This is my first post here so I don't know what else to say really. I get this CPU overload error CONSTANTLY during recording OR playback. I quit all applications but Pro Tools (which shows my memory usage at ~30%), H/W Buffer size all the way up which made no difference, and I have SIX TRACKS OF AUDIO. I am utterly, utterly lost and could really use some help. This literally makes it so I can't work (let alone record, it has made countless good takes trash).
