When PT11 first came out, I remember some Avid videos as well as some posts here saying that the adjustment for the HW buffer in Playback Settings now only affected the size of the input buffer for recording, and that the demands of the native plugs and your bus/aux architecture were calculated automatically(?)
I see nothing in the reference guide referring to a separate input buffer (maybe I'm searching for the wrong words). And whenever I get one of those -9093 error glitches, it says something about increasing the HW buffer size. So that setting must make a difference to the playback buffer, and not only the input.
So the question is, is there a separate input buffer? How do you adjust its size? How could I specify, for example, my input buffer to be 32, and the rest of the playback to 512?
thanks for any response--Kevin
