Combining multiple 24 track poly wav files...

Hi, I am new to Pro Tools. Let me get that out of the way up front. I have a live mixer that records 24 tracks into a single poly wav formatted file. Actually, at 2GB intervals, it creates a new one... so for instance, I have a 5 -6 song set that is spread over 5 of these files. I can add a wav to the clips window and then drag each channel into the tracks one at a time and for 5 of these files, that is 120 drag and drop operations. Also, dragging into the tacks view, there is way too much room for error creating overlap or gaps because of the possibility to overshoot or undershoot the mark.



I have to believe, as advanced as PT is, they would have thought of this and have a way that I am just not seeing to accomplish this task. To make sure that everything falls into place. Any takers?



I am using PT 12.
