I'm still here with Pro Tools 9 and, I'm thinking that's not really a bad thing.
I've come a long way and I started way back with the old m-audio stuff and moved up to where I am. I probably would have just quit long ago if it were not for you helpful people here on the DUC and I thank you for your patience with me and my slow to learn situation. That said there is one major hurdle that continues to elude me and that has to do with the mixing stage of a project. When I read that you should never exceed the 0dB level, are you referring to the 0 that is on each fader that divides + and - decibel levels or are you referring to the highest level on the Master fader which, if exceeded will result in digital distortion? I know that some of you will shake your heads in disbelief at this so, once again, consider the source and please help. Thanks.
