Keyboard Focus

Does anyone know what key command enables and disables Keyboard Focus in the edit window? (the little a/z) Mine keeps turning off for some reason and i can not find out why. The manual seems to not have this information. the keyboard shortcut pdf also seems to only list what you can do with Keyboard Focus and not tell you how to turn it on or off, if it is there i can't find it!
